How no-deposit car rental works in Kyiv
A normal deposit for a car in Kyiv is $400 to $2,800. You get it back, but the money is unavailable while you rent. How much no-deposit rental costs
Extended insurance is added to the rental price: from $14 per day for midsize cars up to $58 for the most expensive models. For example, for the VW Golf over 3 days the extra is $42. The car’s page shows the exact total once you choose Extended insurance in the Protection block.
When no deposit pays off — and when it doesn’t
On a short rental — a few days or a week — the extra is small and it is more convenient not to tie up a large sum. On a rental of a month or more the extended insurance adds up, so leaving a deposit is usually cheaper: it is refunded in full when you return the car.
What the guarantee deposit is
It is a small refundable sum — $200–$850 depending on the model, several times less than the standard deposit. It is a guarantee that you return the car with a full tank, clean and with its documents. If so, the deposit is refunded in full.
What you need
The same as for a standard rental: a passport and driving licence, age 21 or over and 2 years of driving experience. Instead of the standard deposit you leave only the guarantee deposit. With under 2 years of experience the plan is not available: the car is handed over with standard insurance and a doubled deposit only.
Booking with no deposit and no prepayment
Booking on the website is free: leave your name and phone number and a manager calls back within 5 minutes to confirm the car. Choose Extended insurance on the car’s page and the total updates straight away. Pick the car up at our office at 4 Hospitalna St or have it delivered anywhere in Kyiv within 60 minutes.

Yes, any model in the fleet. On the No deposit plan you leave only a $200–$850 guarantee deposit, and extended insurance costs from $14 per day.
Do I need to prepay?
No. Booking on the website is free with no prepayment, and cancelling is free too.
What does the extended insurance give me?
It replaces the standard deposit: instead of $400–$2,800 you leave only a $200–$850 guarantee deposit. Comprehensive and third-party insurance are included in the price on either plan. Insurance does not cover wheels, tyres, loss of documents or the key, or damage to the interior.
When is the guarantee deposit refunded?
When you return the car — in full, if it comes back clean, with a full tank and its documents.
