How no-deposit car rental works in Lviv
Many people come to Lviv for just a few days — a holiday, a wedding, a family visit — and don’t want to leave a $400–$2,500 deposit for the trip. Two plans: Standard and No deposit
On Standard you leave a deposit and collect it when you return the car. On No deposit you leave only a $200–$700 guarantee deposit and pay for extended insurance every day: $14–$49 depending on the class of car. The deposit is a guarantee that the car comes back with a full tank, clean and with its documents. Pick the plan in the Protection block on the car’s page and the total changes at once. Insurance does not cover wheels, tyres, loss of documents or the key, or damage to the interior.
A worked example
The VW Jetta for a weekend (3 days) with no deposit: $42 extra and a $200 guarantee deposit instead of the $450 standard one. For a week, $98. For a month it is $420 — worth comparing with the standard deposit, which is refunded in full.
How to book with no deposit in Lviv
Choose a car and dates, tick Extended insurance in the Protection block and the website shows the total at once. Leave your name and phone number: there is no prepayment and a manager calls back within 5 minutes. Collect the car at our office at 7–9 Halytskoi Armii St or have it delivered within Lviv.
Documents and requirements
A passport and driving licence, age 21 or over, 2 years of driving experience; foreign visitors need a passport and a licence in Latin script or an international permit. Instead of the standard deposit you leave a $200–$700 guarantee deposit, refunded when the car comes back clean, with a full tank and its documents. With under 2 years of experience the plan is not available: the car is handed over with standard insurance and a doubled deposit only.
