Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we receive when you use kermorent.com or rent a car, why we need it and how you can control it. Current version: 30 September 2026.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Rental Drive LLC (ТОВ «Рентал Драйв»), which provides car rental services under the KermoRent brand in Kyiv and Lviv, Ukraine. For any question about personal data, message us on Telegram @Kermorent_bot or call +380 67 005 88 77.

What data we collect

Website request: your name, phone number, preferred contact method, chosen car, city, rental dates and options.
Phone or messenger contact: your phone number or username and the content of your message.
Rental contract: passport and driving licence details, the delivery address, and the details of a second driver if there is one.
Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited — recorded automatically by our hosting servers.

Why we use it

to call you back, confirm the booking and help you choose a car;
to conclude and perform the rental contract and arrange insurance and documents for travel abroad;
to tell you about the status of your booking and answer your questions;
to improve the website and measure how well our advertising works;
to meet legal requirements, including accounting rules.

Legal basis

We process data on the basis of your consent, which you give by sending a request; to conclude and perform the rental contract; to comply with legal obligations; and to protect our legitimate interests, for example in a dispute or when a car is damaged. Processing follows the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”; visitors from the EU also have the rights granted by the GDPR.

Cookies and data in your browser

The website stores your chosen dates, city, currency and last request in your browser so you don’t have to enter them again. If you arrive from an ad link, the site also remembers for 30 days the tags in the page address (for example, which ad and search query brought you) and adds them to your request, so we can tell which advertising works. This data stays on your device and can be deleted in your browser settings. The website uses web analytics and advertising services, including Google and Microsoft Clarity (recordings of on-page actions without the data typed into forms), which use cookies to count visits and show ads. You can switch cookies off in your browser settings — the site works without them.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with those who help us provide the service: insurance companies, telephony, messaging, e-mail and hosting providers, and public authorities where the law requires it, for example in the case of a traffic fine. Some of these providers keep their servers outside Ukraine.

How long we keep data

Requests that did not lead to a contract — up to 12 months. Rental contract data — at least 3 years after the contract ends, or longer if the law requires.

Your rights

to know what data we hold about you and receive a copy;
to have inaccurate data corrected;
to withdraw consent and have your data deleted unless the law requires us to keep it;
to object to the use of your data for advertising;
to complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or to a court.

Data security and children

Only employees who need personal data for their work have access to it; the website runs over a secure HTTPS connection. Rental services are provided to people aged 21 and over, and the website is not intended for children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. A new version takes effect when it is published on this page. Rental conditions are described on the Rental terms page.
